Socktober Toe Up Class!

Socktober!  Learn to knit Toe up socks on Magic loop! Learn all the skills you need to pick the yarn, the pattern, and the needles to make the perfect pair of socks. We will learn to create the toe, then move on to the foot and the body of the sock, then circle back and create an "afterthought heel" which is perfect for these lovely stripy yarns! We will have such fun! Worried? Don't be! All you need to know is how to knit and purl, we will teach you the rest.

The class includes:

• 3 one-hour classes

• How to choose yarn for socks
• How to size socks
• How to cast on and bind off
• How to work an afterthought heel
• How to weave in ends correctly
• How choose a cuff pattern
  

Class Dates and Times

There will be two options to join a class.  Come on a weekday or a weekend, you only need to come to one class in each group to learn all the skills you need to make a fabulous pair of socks! The last group is actually in November (October is pretty busy around here!) But the class needs to be purchased in October to qualify for discounts. All class times are also on our Events Calendar.

Group One (choose one!)

• Tuesday, October 7 10am-11am
• Saturday, October 18, noon-1pm

Group Two (choose one!)

• Tuesday, October 16 11am-noon
• Saturday, October 21, 10:30am-11:30pm

Group Three (choose one!)

• Thursday, November 6 noon-1pm
• Saturday, November 15, 11am-noon
