Holiday Heirloom Stocking Class

Get a jump start on holiday crafting without any of the crunch-time stress! Join us for a relaxed, three-part Christmas Stocking class designed to help you create a classic, handmade keepsake at your own comfortable pace. Starting in September gives you plenty of breathing room to enjoy every stitch.

This class is perfect for adventurous beginners ready to take the next step. If you know how to knit, purl, increase, and decrease, you have all the skills you need—no prior sock-knitting experience required!

(Finished stocking dimensions: approx. 4" wide by 18" long)

Class Structure

• Session 1: Ribbing & Leg Design (1 Hour)

Cast on your cuff, start working on the ribbing, and plan out your leg design. We’ll explore plenty of ideas for personalized details.

• Session 2: The Heel & Foot Setup (1 Hour)

Learn how to easily turn the heel, set up the foot section, learn to weave in ends cleanly, and craft a sturdy loop for hanging.

• Session 3: The Toe & Finishing Touches (1 Hour)

Shape and finish the toe, plus complete any final details so your stocking is ready for the mantel.

Note: There will be a little bit of relaxed knitting to do at home between sessions to complete the leg and foot.

Flexible Scheduling: Choose from four different time slots for each of the three sessions to easily fit your schedule.

• Full Experience ($110): Includes all 3 instruction sessions, the pattern, a complete DK yarn kit in our specially curated holiday palette (Red, Green, and White), and a list of design inspiration ideas.

• Instruction & Pattern Only ($80): Includes all 3 instruction sessions, the pattern, and design inspiration ideas. (Student provides their own DK weight yarn: approx. 520 yards total).

What to Bring

• US Size 5 needles (either a 40" circular for Magic Loop or a set of DPNs)
• A sense of humor!

Class Times:

These are the times set for each session.  You only need to attend one of each session.  If you find you can't make the time work for a session, just let us know and we can work it out!

Session 1

• Tuesday, September 15th at 11:00 am
• Thursday, September 17th at 2:00 pm
• Saturday, September 19th at 1:00 pm

Session 2

• Wednesday, September 23rd at 11:00am
• Thursday, September 24th at 12noon
• Tuesday, September 29th at 2:00 pm

Session 3

• Tuesday, October 6th at 2:00 pm
• Thursday, October 8th at 11:00 am
• Saturday, October 10th at 1:00 pm
